For the past twenty years we have successfully rescued cracked cymbals for our
local customer and are now offering the same professional service to you.
A crack normally starts as a split in the edge or ride area of the cymbal.
These can be attributed to several factors including the thickness of the cymbal
and the manner in which it is played. What we do is cut the cymbal past the
crack to a smaller diameter and then smooth and polish the edge.
The smaller the crack, the less material we have to remove and the more
likely the cymbal will retain its original qualities. It is a fact that when you
cut a cymbal it will change it's tonal quality. It is important to us that you
understand this before we fix your cracked cymbal. Some customers have
actually said it has improved the sound of the cymbal. An extreme crack can
also be turned into a bell cymbal, a nice addition to any kit at a half the cost.
Send us your cracked cymbal. We will fix it and ship it back in about a week.
When your cymbal cracks, don't wait till it gets worse
Marching Band Cymbals, Hi-Hats, Crash or Ride cymbals can all be fixed
for a fraction of what a replacement cymbal would cost. .
